There is nothing more majestic,
More full of energy,
More full of peace,
That the Smile of the Buddha.

The Buddha established at his headquarters
What is the heart of Nibbana
In his watchtower over the world,
Being without being

Happiness free
Free from joy
Free of the world
Kamma free

Radiating all the majesty
Of the one above
Of nagas and petas
Of men and gods
 
Although nothing is free
In this samsaric becoming
Where everything is conditioned
There is the Smile of the Buddha

Even if you can’t feel Nibbana
You can see his reflection
Rutilant, glowing
In the Smile of the Buddha.

It is necessary to be a Buddha to smile like this
